South Africa’s Luke Moir placed ninth in the junior cross-country race at the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships in Leogang-Salzburg, Austria, today.
The title went to Germany’s Lennart-Jan Krayer, who finished 40 seconds ahead of Switzerland’s Janis Baumann.
France’s Luca Martin trailed in 1:24 back to grab the final podium spot.
Moir finished 6:09 back.
