Niko Velasco won the third and final round of the men’s elite race at the WC Downhill Cup in Hellsend, Stellenbosch, yesterday.
Tim Bentley and Johann Potgieter placed second and third respectively.
Theo Erlangsen, who won the first round in January, finished fourth with Adi van der Merwe in fifth.
Frances du Toit won the women’s event.
