Arno du Toit and Gert Heyns won the 82km first stage of the sani2c Race between Glencairn Farm and Mackenzie Country Club in KwaZulu-Natal today.
The DSV Pro Cycling team crossed the line in 3:01:07. Pyga-Euro Steel’s Philip Buys and Matthys Beukes were second, followed by Insect Science’s Keagan Bontekoning and Brendan van Eeden.
Robyn de Groot and Amy McDougall of dormakaba rode to victory in the women’s section. They were followed home by Galileo Risk-Infiniti’s Sarah Hill and Theresa Ralph with Kim le Court and Frances Janse van Rensburg completing the podium.
Chris Horter and Christie Hearder won the mixed team event.
