This year’s African Continental Road Championships will take place in Cairo, Egypt, from March 2 to 6.
The best of the best on the African continent will once again have the opportunity to vie for gold after last year’s championships in Mauritius were cancelled due to Covid-19.
The South African team named is a formidable one with high – and realistic – expectations of medals in several events over the course of the five days.
Organisers have mapped out a 13km circuit for the championships with riders completing multiple laps depending on the overall race distance.
