Tour de France organisers have confirmed the 23 teams that will compete at this year’s race from June 26 to July 18.
In accordance with UCI rules, all 19 WorldTour teams are automatically invited.
Following a decision to increase the overall number of riders to 184, four UCI ProTeams have also been extended invitations.
The size of grand tour pelotons had been reduced to 22 teams of eight riders each in recent years in an attempt to reduce the risk of crashes.
This year’s Tour de France will be the 108th edition of the famed race.
Slovenian Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) will defend his yellow jersey.
