The Belgian Ministry of Sport has given the green light to the German WorldTour team Bora-Hansgrohe to compete in today’s Dwars door Vlaanderen.
Bora-Hansgrohe had been prevented from taking to the start of last Sunday’s Gent-Wevelgem race as well as the prior Frida’s E3 Saxo Bank Classic when a number of team members came into close contact with British rider Matthew Walls who tested positive for Covid-19.
“This has been a difficult situation not only for us, but also for several others who have been involved. We are aware that health, whether of individual athletes or in society at large, must always come first.
