Matt Beers and Wessel Botha were crowned champions of the 2021 edition of PE Plett which concluded after four days in the saddle at Nature’s Valley, today.
The Typedev-Nanotime duo had led the race by 30 seconds heading into Saturday’s final 69km-long stage which began in the picturesque Tsitsikamma region.
They duly put in a performance fitting of their champion status, winning the finale in a time of 2:17:22.
The Imbuko Giant pair of Marco Joubert and Rudi Koen finished both second on the stage (2:18:43) and second overall.
