South Africa continued its domination of the women’s elite division at the 15th African Continental Road Championships in Cairo, Egypt, today.
Carla Oberholzer won the 98km road race ahead of compatriot Hayley Preen.
Namibia’s Vera Looser took bronze.
In addition, Frances Janse van Rensburg, who finished fourth, won the U23 title in a race within a race.
