Chanté Olivier proved to be South Africa’s “golden girl” at the 2021 African Continental Road Championships in Cairo, Egypt.
The likeable 17-year-old from Bloemfontein ended her championships with a perfect three gold medals from three races to make her the most successful junior – male or female – at the event.
Olivier was part of the SA quartet that won the team time-trial on the opening day and then followed that up with victory against the clock in the individual time-trial.
