The 2021 edition of the Race to Cradock has concluded with 32 entrants successfully completing the 580km self-navigated mountain bike race which started in Rhodes in the Eastern Cape last Saturday.
Janine Stewart overcame the muddy conditions and a sleep-deprived couple of nights in the saddle to claim overall victory.
Stewart completed the route in 62 hours and 52 minutes and was the first entrant – male or female – across the finish line.
It was her fifth victory in the event which takes place on a segment of the Freedom Challenge: Race Across South Africa route.
