The future appears bright for South African cycling following a number of top performances by the country’s juniors at the recent African Continental Road Championships in Cairo, Egypt.
Four junior men and as many junior women were selected to represent the country in North Africa and they returned home with four gold and two bronze medals in their six combined races.
All eight riders will now turn their attention to the SA National Road Championships to be held in Swellendam from March 18 to 21.
