Shaun-Nick Bester picked up his first win of the season at Sunday’s Summer Fast One MTB marathon.
Cruel luck with his chain at the recent Gauteng provincial XCO Cup saw the Pretoria-based Bester finish fourth, but ahead of his latest challenge, the 30-year-old was in a confident mood.
“My form has been coming along nicely and I’m excited to get out there racing again!” Bester said.
And so it proved as the runner-up in the Pursuit Challenge #3 went one step better this time around.
