Wout van Aert won the seventh and final stage of Tirreno-Adriatico today as Tadej Pogacar captured his second title of the season.
Jumbo-Visma’s Van Aert completed the 10.1km individual time-trial course around San Benedetto del Tronto in a blistering time of 11:06.
Stefan Küng (Groupama-FDJ) finished second in 11:12, while world champion and pre-stage favourite Filippo Ganna (Ineos) could only manage third in 11:17.
Pogacar, who earlier this year won the UAE Tour, finished the final stage in fourth place, 12 seconds behind Van Aert.
