The Bestmed Ballito Expedition MTB Championship started in 2013 and invites the whole family to take part in the challenging and adventurous 25km or 50km route at the Sugar Rush Adventure Centre, between Ballito and Durban.
The 25km route consists of single track, 4×4 tracks and farm road sections, and offers spectacular views and beautiful forest sections with some tough climbs and fast winding tracks.
For the fitter rider the 50km route offers a tougher challenge consisting of scenic 4×4 and single tracks along mountain contours, with hill-top views and high-speed descents to add to the rush.
The venue also offers a coffee shop, winery and wide open spaces that offers fun and entertainment for young and old.
The event does however only allow for 800 entries, so early bookings are essential.
Entry fees: 25km – R175; 50km – R225
