The first Great Graffiti Walls of Jozi e-bike ride will take place on Sunday, January 13. The ride has been specifically designed for e-bike riders, but people riding normal mountain bikes are more than welcome to join in the fun.
This is very much a social ride that will take us through parts of Parkhurst, Parkview, Melville, Emmerentia Dam and the Delta Park areas. It will be a perfect opportunity to test your e-bike modes and gears skills going up Melville Hill and in the Delta Park areas.
The ride will start at 7am from the 4th Avenue Coffee Roasters cafe in Parkhurst, Johannesburg.
It is a total distance of approximately 28km and will take about two to three hours to complete.
We will have a quick stop at each of the very creative graffiti walls (see photo for one of them) that can be seen along the way. The ride will also include a bit of fun single-track cycling in the popular Delta park area.
The ride is free and everyone is welcome, but no helmet, no ride.
