Team MTN-Qhubeka, racing as Team Dimension Data in 2016, have announced two more additions – Nathan Haas and Omar Fraile – to their existing squad.
Australian Haas, 26, who currently rides in the colours of Cannondale-Garmin, counts two wins in the Japan Cup among his palmarès and is expected to make an impact in small bunch sprints.
Spaniard Omar Fraile, who will move from Caja Rural-Seguros RGA, will add firepower on the climbs. The 25-year-old has had a successful season, claiming the king of the mountains classification at the Vuelta a España and wins at the Quatre Jours de Dunkerque and Giro dell’Appennino.
The team will retain its core line-up that includes Norwegian road champion Edvald Boasson Hagen, Eritrean national champ Natnael Berhane, Tour de France stage winner Steve Cummings and La Vuelta stage winner Kristian Sbaragli.
Jacques Janse van Rensburg, Reinardt Janse van Rensburg, Daniel Teklehaimanot, Merhawi Kudus, and Serge Pauwels will also remain part of the team’s success story.
