Team Rwanda’s Jean Bosco Nsengimana won the short 3.3km prologue of the Tour Du Rwanda in a new event record time of 3:45 in Kigali today.

The win also awarded Nsengimana his ninth yellow jersey for the annual race, the second most behind fellow Rwandan Valens Ndayisenga with 12, who crossed the finish at second in 3:48 today.
Dimension Data’s Stefan de Bod waved South Africa’s flag to round out the podium in 3:52.
The stage saw three DiData riders finish in the top 10, namely: De Bod, Joseph Areruya (fourth) and Samuel Mugisha (sixth).
