Attakwas Extreme entries for next year’s event, taking place on January 19, open at midday on Monday.
Riders can enter the 121km feature race, which consists of 2 900m of climbing as it takes riders along the Outenique Mountains via the Attakwaskloof, or the 52km Attakwas Mini.

The latter serves as an introduction to ultra-marathon mountain biking for those not yet prepared to tackle the main feature.
The main race boasts a challenging route, the Klein Karoo start and the festival-like finish at Pine Creek Resort in Great Brak River.
This year’s men’s race was won by PYGA Euro Steel’s Matthys Beukes who finished the course in 4:56:56.
Ariane Lüthi won the women’s title for the sixth time after finishing in 5:45:11.
