South Africa’s Daryl Impey has dropped to third place in the UCI WorldTour rankings.
Mitchelton-Scott’s Impey, who was ranked first a month ago, dropped two places following the most recent WorldTour events.
Impey climbed to number one after his historic victory in the Tour Down Under in January.
He finished third in the Cadel Evans Great Oceans Race a week later, while also winning the national road and time-trial championships for the first time in February.

Since going to Europe, Impey finished 45th overall at the Tirreno-Adriatico in Italy earlier this month. He then placed 21st at the Milan-San Remo a few days later.
He finished 49th overall at the Volta a Catalunya in Spain last week.
Movistar’s Alejandro Valverde (Spain) jumped from sixth to number one in the rankings following his overall victory at the Volta a Catalunya.
Bora-Hansgrohe’s Peter Sagan (Slovakia) rose from 13th to second spot after his victory at the Gent-Wevelgem in Belgium on Sunday.
