Photo: Gustav Klotz The Swiss pair finished fourth in the prologue on Sunday and 29th in stage one yesterday where Stirnemann first experienced symptoms of a stomach bug. Last year the Scott-Sram pair won the eight-day race, beating Investec-Songo-Specialized’s Jaroslav Kulhavy and Christoph Sauser into second by just over eight minutes.
