Henry Liebenberg and Matthew Keyser won their second stage in a row when day two of Trek 2 Teebus finished at Harmonie Farm, West of Steynsburg, in the Eastern Cape, today.
The Silverback-Volvo team finished the 55km course in 1:49:09. Euodia Cycles-Cadence Tygervalley’s Malan Gys and Johan Coetzee finished second in 2:02:21 and Enduren’s Bert and Koos Pauw placed third in 2:30:20. Liebenberg and Keyser lead overall with a time of 4:36:34.

A-Z’s Zane Coetzee and Anel Strampe won the women’s race in 2:41:04. They were followed by Janwurm Angri’s Mari du Toit and Janize van Staden in 3:34:58. Coetzee and Strampe are first overall in 6:35:58.
Smoove Lube’s Izelle and Ruan Deyzel won the mixed category in 2:35:54. Advendurance’s Christi and Fritz Pienaar finished second in 2:44:34, while Skippie’s Hennie and Tria Scheepers placed third in 3:06:49. Even though they placed second, the Pienaars’ lead overall in 6:21:00.
The solo men’s race was won by Jordan Wisdom in 1:49:49, while Lulu Ceronio won the solo women’s event in 2:45:34. Christo Roos lead overall in 4:52:03, while Ceronio tops the women’s standings in 6:49:50.
