South Africa’s Greg Minnaar finished 13th at the elite men’s UCI Downhill Mountain Bike World Cup in Losinj, Croatia, today.
Minnaar, who won the Fort William world cup last year, suffered a flat on the closing stages of the route, which cost him valuable seconds. He completed the race in 2:24.06.

American Aaron Gwin won the race with a time of 2:19.19, beating compatriot Luca Shaw by 0.8 seconds. Australian Dean Lucas rounded out the podium.
