Having been seeded 17th at the start, Hatherly completed the six-lap race in 1:21:00. Frenchman Joshua Dubau won the race in 1:17:48, beating compatriot Antoine Philipp and Danish Jonas Linderberg into second and third respectively.
South Africa’s Jarrod van den Heever placed 105th overall.
