South Africa’s Alan Hatherly finished third in the U23 men’s cross-country race at the UCI MTB World Cup in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic, today.
He finished in a time of 1:24:08. The race was won by Romania’s Vlad Dascalu, who finished in 1:23:44. Second place went to Switzerland’s Filippo Colombo, who finished in 1:24:05.

The women’s race was won by Switerzerland’s Sina Frei in 1:24:08. Second place went to Denmark’s Malene Degn, who finished in 1:24:08. Italy’s Marika Tovo completed the podium when she finished in 1:24:27.
