Britain’s Cavendish yesterday scraped through the tenth stage by 28 seconds, the first mountain stage, before falling outside of the cut-off today; also a mountain stage which finished atop the La Rosière.
“Unfortunately we can confirm both Mark Cavendish and Mark Renshaw have finished outside of the time limit today,” the team announced on Twitter.
