Belgium’s Omar Fraile won stage 14 of the Tour de France atop Mende today.

The Astana Pro rider finished the 188km stage from Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux in 4:41:57 to beat Quick-Step Floors’ Julian Alaphilippe and Trek Segafredo’s Jasper Stuyven.
Stuyven led the race from about 33km remaining but was caught by Spain’s Fraile and France’s Alaphilippe in the final kilometres to the finish.
South Africa’s Daryl Impey (Mitchelton-Scott) finished ninth on the stage.
Britain’s Geraint Thomas (Sky) maintains the overall lead in 58:10:44 ahead of compatriot Chris Froome (at 01:39) and Dutchman Tom Dumoulin (at 01:50).
