The Storms River Traverse mountain bike stage race started in Stormsriver, Eastern Cape, yesterday.

Stage one
The opening stage consisted of a 63.9km course at the Tsitsikamma Village Inn. Riders had to endure what seem to have been a very wet and muddy stage.

Stage two
The second stage consisted of a 43.2km route, which started and finished at the Tsitsikamma Village Inn.

Stage three
The third and final stage took riders on a 50.7km course from the Tsitsikamma Village Inn.
