Reinardt Janse van Rensburg will be playing a key role for Dimension Data at the two WorldTour one-day races this weekend, the Grand Prix Cycliste de Québec tomorrow and the Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal on Saturday.
South Africa’s Janse van Rensburg, who recently earned an impressive result at the Deutschland Tour, will race as a sprint option and contender along with Norway’s Edvald Boasson Hagen on the punchy climbs of the two circuit races.

The Québec event comprises a 16-lap circuit, totalling a distance of 201.6km and Montréal, also a 16-lap circuit, totals 195.2km.
Tom-Jelte Slagter, Lachlan Morton and Ben O’Connor will have opportunities to make moves on sharp gradients, while Bernie Eisel and Nic Dougall will share the role as road captains.
“We have a very balanced and motivated team at the start and they will be prepared for all sorts of race situations,” sports director Rolf Aldag said.
“Edvald, Tom Jelte and Reinardt have the depth to score when it comes to an uphill sprint finish.
“Racing on city circuits is always special since there are good crowds out there, which gives riders always some extra motivation.”
