The South African, riding for NCCS, beat Mitchell Eliot of ProTouch and Steven van Heerden of BCX when he finished the 100km stage in 2:29:55.
Pupkewitz Ladies’ Genevieve Weber of South Africa won the women’s race in 2:30:12. Second was DeLush’s Bertha Theron of Namibia (2:30:16). RR Importers’ Anneke Steenkamp, who also hails from Namibia, came in third (2:30:17).
