David Maree won the Cycle4Good criterium event that took place at Waterfall City in Midrand, Gauteng, yesterday.
Second place went to OfficeGuru’s Dylan Girdlestone, with teammate Alex Worsdale in third.

Maree, of team BCX, said it was an enjoyable day out and that it felt great to be able to win.
“There were some tough competition and strong riding from the OfficeGuru boys,” said the 29-year-old who also won the Jock Classic in Mbombela earlier this year.
Nicola Biani won the women’s race in a time of 1:08:33, while Monet Blofield placed second in 1:08:33.
