Casper Pretorius and Kay MacIntosh won the respective men’s and women’s 70km feature race of the Dorsland MTB Challenge in Vanwyksdorp, Western Cape, on Saturday.
Pretorius completed the race in 2:40:40, beating Winston Bourbon-Leftley by some nine minutes into second. Willem Serfontein completed the podium.

Macintosh won the women’s race in 3:35:56, with Anita Wheeler and Brenda Swart following in second and third respectively.
Dawie du Plooy (1:18:17) and Corne Serfontein (1:42:56) were the respective winners in the 30km race.
