South Africa’s Hylton Belitzky just missed a place on the podium when he came fourth in the men’s 40 to 44 age category of the time-trial at the Masters Track Cycling World Championships at the VELO Sports Center in Los Angeles yesterday.
Belitzky, who targeted a podium finish before the world champs, completed the time-trial in 50.942. America’s Ethan Boyes won the event in 49.596, finishing faster than Switzerland’s Fabian Keiser and France’s Geoffroy Soulaine.
