Wessel Botha won the 55km feature race of the 947 Mountain Bike Challenge in Johannesburg today.
Botha, who rides for NAD Pro and won the Wines2Whales Shiraz alongside Matt Beers last weekend, defended his title by soloing to victory, beating Jan Withaar by 45 seconds. Pieter du Toit finished on the podium for the third consecutive year.

Robyn de Groot won the women’s race in 2:09:15, with Sarah Hill and Theresa Ralph completing the podium.
