Former professional Hendrik Redant has joined Dimension Data as directeur sportif, the African WorldTour team announced yesterday.
The Belgian enjoyed a successful 20-year cycling career before he went into the role of directeur sportif.

His victories include a stage win at the Boland Bank Tour in SA as well as a double triumph in the Belgian one-day race Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne.
Team principal Douglas Ryder said he was thrilled about the new additions to their team, which include new performance innovation manager and head coach Dr Daniel Green.
“The range of expertise that these individuals will bring into our set-up is a huge boost.
“All have integrated really well having been with us at our annual training camp in Cape Town. We cannot wait for the season to get started.”
