The driver of a car that allegedly hit and killed a Port Elizabeth cyclist early on Sunday morning has handed himself over to police.
Cain Rockman, 21, is facing a culpable homicide charge and has been released on bail.

Mzwinale Bulo, 37, a security guard, was cycling to work just before 5am when the hit-and-run incident occurred in the suburb of Walmer on the corner of Heugh Road and 8th Avenue.
South African Police Service (SAPS) spokesperson Captain Johan Rheeder said after the incident that if the driver came forward “it will make his case not as serious”.
Rockman handed himself over to the police yesterday around 5pm and Rheeder said “his story will be heard in court”.
“From our side it was a hit-and-run and he didn’t stop after the accident. The victim unfortunately died on the scene,” Rheeder told In the Bunch today.
Rheeder said Rockman was driving a friend’s car and wasn’t the owner of the vehicle.
“He is going to court now and is out on bail of R2 000 and his case is postponed until January 23.”
