Shaun-Nick Bester and Sarah Hill clinched the respective men’s and women’s Trailseeker Series titles after the conclusion of the sixth and final event in Cullinan earlier this month.
Riders were allocated points based on their respective positions in each race they participated in.
Bester participated in four of the six events, having finished third in the first one in Buffelsdrift, fourth in the second one at Legends MX, seventh in the third one in Grabouw and second in the fifth one in Mabalingwe.
He racked up a total of 14 471 points, beating David Cooke into second and Philip Buys third.

The Grabouw event also served as the national marathon champs, which was won by Gert Heyns and Robyn de Groot respectively.
Hill competed in five of the six events and accumulated 15 289 points after finishing fourth in Buffelsdrift, third at Legends MX, fourth in the national champs, second in Mabalingwe and winning in Cullinan.
Theresa Ralph finished second overall and De Groot third.
