South Africa’s Shameeg Salie has joined the British-based Nuun-Sigma Sports-London cycling team for the 2019 season, the team announced today.
Based in London, the team takes part in their local road races, time-trials, criteriums and track events.

Salie, who recently won the gruelling One Tonner in the Western Cape, has ridden for Randwater-Transnet this season.
He rode for the Dimension Data Continental team in 2016 before joining Alfa Bodyworks in 2017, so the 23-year-old should bring a wealth of experience to the British outfit.
The Cape Town local is the only South African out of a roster of 14 riders in the British team.
