Stage one
The TransCape kicked off in George for the first time this year, and started at the foot of the Outiniqua mountains.
The 78km opening stage extended through the quaint sections of the Garden Route, over the Montagu Pass to eventually finish at the Chandelier Game Reserve near Oudtshoorn.
Damien Ingram and Stuart Cathcart won the team category, some four minutes ahead of Zbigniew Wizner and Pawel Gaca. View the results.
