South African Jacques Janse van Rensburg will make his return to racing at the Criterium du Dauphine which starts in Aurillac, France, on Sunday after recovering from a crash in the Tour de Romandie at the end of April.
The 31-year-old Dimension Data rider broke his collarbone during the prologue time-trial in Neuchâtel on April 30.
Fellow countryman Stefan de Bod will also be one to watch over the eight-day event, which consists of three hilly, two flat and two mountain stages, as well as an individual time-trial.

De Bod, who won the time-trial at the African Road Champs in March, is competing in his first year as a professional cyclist for the WorldTour set-up.
Other riders in the DiData line-up include Edvald Boasson Hagen and Steve Cummings, who have won five Dauphine stages between them in previous years.
“This will be my ninth edition. I really enjoy this race and I have some good memories from the success I have had here before,” said Boasson Hagen, who placed third overall in this month’s Tour of Norway.
“I hope to be successful here again with the team as we head into an important part of the season.”
