Rohan du Plooy claimed this year’s Kremetart Cycle Race title in Louis Trichardt yesterday.
The 24-year-old completed the 175km route in a time of 4:12:16 and was followed home by David Maree three seconds later. Nico Bell completed the podium.
Callum Ormiston and Ryan Harris placed fourth and fifth respectively.
The 70km men’s race was won by Dawie Grobbelaar, with Gunther Katzke second and Calvin Lee third.
Christelle Coetzer won the women’s event, while Chante Oosthuizen came second and Karla van Zyl finished third.
