Marc Pritzen leads the overall men’s elite standings after last week’s Tshwane Diamond Classic, which was the 19th event in this year’s Road Cycling Series.
The U23 national road champ also won his first Tour of Good Hope title in March.
Jason Oosthuizen, who was runner-up in this year’s Cape Town Cycle Tour, placed second in the category, with Kent Main third.
Main, who placed second overall in the Tour de Limpopo last month, also moved up two positions in the best one-day classic leader rankings.
Liezel Jordaan and Tiffany Keep share the top spot in the elite/U23 women’s category.
Christiaan Klopper and Kelsey van Schoor top the respective junior men’s and women’s rankings.
This series extracts results and allocates points based on these results in various categories from all of the country’s top one-day classics, multi-stage races and national road championships.
The next event is the Kremetart Cycle Race this weekend.
