South African Greg Minnaar placed sixth in the elite men’s downhill race at the UCI MTB World Cup in Fort William, Scotland, today.
The title was won by France’s Amaury Pierron, with Australian Troy Brosnan second and Frenchman Loris Vergier third.
Great Britain’s Rachel Atherton won the women’s race, while Australian Tracey Hannah placed second. German Nina Hoffman completed the podium.
