Gustav Basson, who was hospitalised after a car crash three weeks ago, was discharged from hospital on Saturday.
In a recent social media post, Basson said he would like to express his gratitude to each and everyone for their prayers, thoughts and support during his recuperation.
“It definitely helps more than you think.
“God is good and I’m happy to be alive and to still have the opportunity to chase my dreams,” said the TEG Procycling rider, who recently won the Challenge International du Sahara Marocain in Morocco.
The accident resulted in him breaking his right upper femur.
