Tim Bentley won the men’s downhill eliminator on day three of the Maluti Mountain Bike Festival at the Afriski Mountain Resort in Lesotho yesterday.
Greg Minnaar placed second, while Andrew Neethling came third.
Frankie du Toit won the women’s event, beating Beanie Thies and Steffanie Grossman into second and third respectively.
The race saw four riders, each on a separate downhill run of equal distance, race to be the first through the holeshot.
The event was ended off with the Whipp Off where competitors were judged on technicality, amplitude and off-course style.
