Matt Beers and Wessel Botha dominated throughout the three-day Wines2Whales Shiraz to ultimately take the victory in Onrus today.
The duo won all three stages and ended up successfully defending their title.
Arno du Toit and Gert Heyns finished with an overall time of 7:37:40 – five minutes and three seconds behind the winning time.
Third place went to Matthys Beukes and Philip Buys.
The women’s team event was won by Alisha Meyers and Katja Steenkamp, with Elrika Harmzen-Pretorius and Bianca Silberbauer second. Shannon Carleton and Bessa Odendaal completed the podium.
