Tiaan Swart and Guy Close win the overall men’s title at the sani2c Adventure mountain bike race that finished at Scottburgh Golf Club in KwaZulu-Natal today.
The pair placed second in the 86km final stage behind Joel Stransky and Mike Hewan, who finished second overall. Tyler and Malcolm Lange placed third on the stage and on GC.
The women’s team race was won by Vivienne Turvey and Jeanette Treherne, who took the lead on stage one and never relinquished it. Orla du Toit and Comine Bruwer were second overall.
Hannes Hanekom and Yolandi du Toit won the mixed team race.
