The Tour of Flanders will be held without spectators for a second straight year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
This year’s race is scheduled for a return to its usual autumn timeslot of April 4.
Last year’s Tour of Flanders was also fan-free and saw Dutch star Mathieu van der Poel (Alpecin-Fenix) win the race which was rescheduled to October 18.
The opening one-day race of the Belgian season, Omloop Het Nieuwsblad on February 27, has also banned spectators at the start and finish lines as well as other viewing points along the 199.8km route.
