South Africa added to its medal tally with victory in the mixed relay at the African Continental Road Championships today.
Carla Oberholzer, Frances Janse van Rensburg, Hayley Preen, Ryan Gibbons, Kent Main and Gustav Basson combined to post the fastest time among the three countries who entered teams.
SA covered the 28km in a time of 39:18, beating second-placed Rwanda by 3:43. Ethiopia took the bronze medal.
