Fresh off his victory in the individual time-trial at the SA National Road Championships in Swellendam, Ryan Gibbons will take to the start of Brugge-De Panne this week.
The race will be held in Wednesday, March 24 starting in the Belgian town of Brugge and finishing in the seaside resort of De Panne.
First held in 1977, until 2017 it was a three-day stage race, but switched to a single-day race in 2018.
Gibbons was named in the seven-rider UAE Team Emirates line-up alongside Mikkel Bjerg, Fernando Gaviria, Vegard Stake Laengen, Marco Marcato, Rui Oliveira and Maximiliano Richeze.
