Pedri Crause lived up to his billing as pre-race favourite when he won the junior men’s individual time-trial on the first day of racing at the 2021 SA National Road Championships in Swellendam today.
Crause, who triumphed in the junior men’s time-trial title at the recent African Continental Road Championships in Egypt, covered the 20km route in a time of 28:36.
Kai von During finished second in 28:44 while Jason Eggett took bronze in 29:15.
